I didn’t receive the SMS confirmation to verify my account on the ticket access platform

To access event tickets, some platforms require users to verify their account by receiving an SMS and a validation email. If you don’t receive the verification SMS, here are some tips to solve the issue:

General Tips

  1. Ensure that your phone number is entered in the correct format, including the country code. For example, a French number should be formatted as +33 followed by the phone number (+33 4..). If your country does not show on the dropdown menu, select “Other” and then enter your phone number.
  2. Switch device or provider: Try using another phone associated with a different service provider. Sometimes, the telecom operator might block certain SMS messages. If you are traveling, you can also request assistance from someone with a U.S. or Canadian number to receive the SMS for you.
  3. Browse in incognito mode on your computer : Try accessing the platform from a private browsing window or incognito mode in your browser.
  4. Verify your number: Make sure you entered your phone number correctly, including the country code.
  5. Resend the code: Select the "Resend code" option on the verification screen.
  6. Patience: Sometimes, the SMS may take a few minutes to arrive. Wait a moment before.

Check your phone Settings

For iOS (iPhone) users:

  • Unblock contacts: Go to Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification and ensure the number is not blocked.
  • Disable filtering unknown senders: Go to Settings > Messages and turn off the "Filter Unknown Senders" option.

For Android users:

  • Check the spam folder: In your messaging app, look for a spam or blocked messages section.
  • Check messaging app settings: Ensure there are no active filters classifying messages as spam.

Additional Solutions

  1. Do Not Disturb Mode: Ensure that "Do Not Disturb" mode is not enabled, as it might block SMS notifications.
  2. Enable roaming: If you are traveling, activate roaming and ensure mobile data is covered by your plan.
  3. Restart your device: Turn off and restart your phone, then request the code again.
  4. Refresh the screen: Refresh the verification screen and re-enter the received code.
